Erik M. Velez

Erik Velez has over 20 years of experience in architecture and business. Erik honed his strong design skills, deep technical capabilities, and thorough project management and communication prowess working for some of the most prestigious architecture firms in New York City, including SCLE and Howard L. Zimmerman Architects. It was also during this time that he cultivated a passion for high-performance commercial and residential design while working as an architect on the first passive home in the Northeast.
Today, Erik works as a Senior Project Manager for ZPM, a subsidiary company of Howard L. Zimmerman Architects, managing complex exterior restoration projects around Manhattan. He spends his free time with his Tamaskan, River, and exploring the architecture of form and urban landscape through photography.
